Sorry bout that,
1. But Presidential hopeful Fred Thompson looks to be calling it quits.
2. He as much as confessed to not have a strong will to run for President.
3. Its not a good idea to claim you don't like running for President.
4. Couldn't he have done that after the race?
5. He pretty much threw in the towel.
6. Read it here:http://www.siouxcityjournal.com/articles/2007/12/30/news/iowa/31b24975ed2c263e862573c100054e2b.txt

WASHINGTON, Iowa (AP) -- Fred Thompson acknowledged Saturday he's not especially fond of running for president, but he thinks he'd be a good choice for the White House.
Asked at a town hall meeting in Burlington whether he had the desire to be president, Thompson said it wasn't his idea to seek the office, and he wasn't enamored with campaigning.
"I am not consumed by personal ambition. I will not be devastated if I don't do it," he said. "I'm not particularly interested in running for president."
But he said others convinced him to run.

7. He's lost,.....some one buy him a soft chair to sit this one out!

He called it journalistic malpractice on his TV interview today with Chris Wallace.
I saw that interview and I understood what he was saying...
The lamestream media hate him because he won't jump through their hoops for them........which I find amusing...
In Iowa there is 40% of undecided voters, and that is what he is working on now in getting his message out to them...
We'll see come Thursday...I'm pulling for him..:cheers2:

Forget Thompson. Hunter is a better choice anyway.

Forget Thompson. Hunter is a better choice anyway.
Their both my picks, Pale.
But unfortunately Hunter isn't even making a blip on the radar screen..I wish he was..
Whereas Thompson is right now in third or a close fourth in Iowa and in other states..
I'm hoping Hunter to be Thompsons Vp...now that's the ticket for me...:cheers2:

Sorry bout that,
1. But after reading what he said, I can not support a person who doesn't want to run.
1.(a) I was an early supporter, thats gone by the wayside now.
2. Simple as that.
3. He is screwed royally.
4. I didn't think he was that stupid.
5. But I was wrong, he's plenty stupid.

I would rather support a person who isn't all wrapped up in the ego power trip of being a President..and I could name a few of them right now from both parties who fit that bill...
I like Thompsons attitude..and his platform..
Stupid he isn't.............
Go Thompson/Hunter:cheers2:

Ya know I don't trust all these polls. I don't think they're even close to accurate. I'm hoping Iowa turns them all on their heads. I'm also thinking Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter will give much stronger showings than were thought possible. Paul more so than Hunter, because Paul has both Republicans and Democrats voting for him.
We'll see. It's not long now.

Sorry bout that,
1. But don't get me wrong, I really wanted Fred.
2. But he's a screw up.
3. No one deserves to be President, if they don't want to work for it.
4. His claim he isn't making any money, and his family is taking the back seat.
5. Is ridiculous.
6. If he wasn't aware of all the work when he got into it, thats his problem, not Americas.
7. I can't support some one who wants to back into, *The Presidency*.
